Cinnamon cake. The shortcut cinnamon roll with amazing natural taste.
Cinnamon cake is a quick shortcut to cinnamon rolls, because it requires less time to prepare. Moreover, the cake turns out very flavorful and soft. Surprisingly, there is no sugar added to this cake – all the sweetness comes from natural ingredients such as bananas, raisins, and dates. Furthermore, you will be pleasantly surprised by the natural sweetness of this cake, especially when paired with complementary flavors such as cream cheese, apple sauce, and oat flakes.
Easy cinnamon roll cake: quick and delicious
The easy cinnamon roll cake recipe is a quick way to enjoy the taste of cinnamon rolls without the extra effort. Notably, the recipe is incredibly easy to make. Unlike traditional cinnamon rolls, there is no need to make a yeast dough, wait for it to rise, roll it out, and cut it into rolls. Instead, you can mix the ingredients, bake the cake, cut it in half, and add the cinnamon layer and topping.
One thing I love is simplifying recipes by reducing ingredients and cooking steps. The same applies to this cake recipe, which is both easy, incredibly delicious and requires very simple ingredients. By making this cake, you can save time and have more opportunities to enjoy it.
Enjoy the flavor of cinnamon rolls without the fuss and added sugar
This recipe is perfect for anyone who loves the flavor of cinnamon rolls but doesn’t want to spend a lot of time making them. Furthermore, the recipe calls for very affordable and simple ingredients that you can easily find in any supermarket. The recipe consists of three simple steps: mixing and baking a cake, preparing a cinnamon layer, and applying a spread on top of the cake and on the sides.
In my baking recipes, I always try to reduce the amount of sugar used or avoid it altogether. However, creating a recipe with the distinct cinnamon roll flavor was a challenge because sugar and cinnamon are essential ingredients for achieving the perfect taste. After numerous taste tests and experimenting with different sugar substitutes, I finally developed a recipe that captures all the cinnamon flavor without any added sugar.
Healthy and delicious: celebrate your birthday with a nutritious twist on a classic cake
I love making this recipe for my daughter’s birthday. It is both healthy and delicious. Notably, the cake does not contain any flour. Instead, oat flakes are used as a substitute. Moreover, the cake is perfect even for small kids because it does not contain any sugar. The natural sweeteners we use, such as raisins, dates, and bananas, are ideal for both children and adults alike.
The absence of refined sugar makes this cake a healthier alternative to traditional birthday cakes, which are often loaded with sugar and artificial ingredients. Additionally, the substitution of oat flakes for flour provides a unique texture and adds to the nutritional value of the cake. By making this cake, you can provide a healthier and delicious option for any birthday celebration.
Bananas instead of butter and sugar
Apart from dates and raisins, bananas are the main ingredient that give this cake its sweet taste. Specifically, I use a bunch of bananas – 700 g to be precise. This is equivalent to four bananas with the peel on. Once you peel them, you should have around 430-450 g of bananas. Bananas make an excellent base for this cake as they not only add sweetness but also help to keep the cake moist.
With this recipe, there is no need for refined sugar, which can be harmful to your health. Instead, the natural sweetness of the bananas, dates, and raisins makes this cake a healthier alternative to traditional cakes. Furthermore, the use of bananas in this recipe provides additional health benefits such as potassium, vitamin C, and dietary fiber. So, indulge in a slice of this delicious and nutritious cake without any guilt.
Moist and irresistible
Many cinnamon roll and cinnamon cake recipes call for a lot of butter or oil to achieve a soft and moist texture. However, for a healthier option, I always try to find substitutes that maintain the same moist texture. In this recipe, the combination of bananas and eggs works perfectly to create a moist cake without the need for butter.
Furthermore, I always strive to create desserts that are both enjoyable and healthy. By omitting butter, this cake becomes lower in calories, making it a guilt-free treat that can be enjoyed on a daily basis.

Tips
*I would recommend using fine, quick-cooking oat flakes for this recipe. However, if you only have large oat flakes that need to be cooked, you can still use them. Before using them, simply blend them briefly in a blender to create a smaller texture. They don’t need to be ground into oat flour.
