Healthy chocolate cookie:♡For chocolate lovers♡
If you are a chocolate lover you are going to love healthy chocolate cookies – they contain double the amount of chocolate and are still lower in calories in comparison to regular chocolate cookies. The recipe is quite easy and quick and you do not need any special ingredients except for chocolate. It is very important to use the right chocolate – this recipe only works with chocolate that has 60% of cocoa or lower. I tried making these cookies with chocolate that was higher in cocoa and it did not work. Also I would recommend using chocolate chip cookies and not pieces of chocolate (as you can see in my video I tried it with pieces of chocolate). Adding pieces of chocolate also works for this recipe – but the chocolate melts completely, so you do not have this feeling of double chocolate as you get it with chocolate chip cookies, because they do not melt completely and stay crunchy.

Ingredients
- 150 g chocolate 60%*
- 40 g butter
- 1 egg (1 egg white)
- 30 g maple syrup
- 120 g wheat flour
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp vanilla sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 15 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Melt 150 g chocolate (60%)* and 40 g of butter over the water bath. Mix 1 egg, 1 egg white
- 30 g maple syrup and ½ tsp of vanilla sugar and whip everything with a mixer. Mix chocolate and egg mixture, whip with a mixer. In a separate bowl mix 120 g wheat flour, ¾ tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt and add it to chocolate egg mixture. Create 14 cookies and place 15 g of chocolate chips inside of cookies. Bake at 180 C / 355 F for 15 minutes.

*It is important to use chocolate with 60% cacao and not higher. If you use chocolate with a higher percentage of cacao, then the recipe will not work.
