Oreo ice cream: 4 ingredients & lower in sugar

A regular oreo ice cream is so overloaded with flavor enhancers and sugars that eating even one serving gives you a lot of unnecessary calories. One serving of the ice cream we are going to make is under 150 calories. Obviously you can definitely enjoy it and keep a healthy lifestyle. We are using oreos for some flavor, but the texture comes from frozen bananas and ricotta. Of course oreos themselves contain some sugar. But we are not adding any sugar on top – this makes this recipe lower in sugar, but full of oreo flavor.

If you have frozen bananas in your fridge (and I really recommend freezing some pieces if you like to enjoy the healthy ice creams, you can keep them in the freezer for up to 3 month) you can make this dessert in 3 minutes. Without a doubt, a perfect if you do not have any time to bake. Just blend the ingredients and top with crushed oreos and you can enjoy an ice cream!
