Healthy chips - crispy, tasty and just half the calories

Healthychips is my absolute favorite snack of all times – these crunchy chips have 55%less fat and contain of healthy ingredients!

Ingredients
  

  • 40 g rye flour
  • 40 g rice flour
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 20 g pumpkin seeds
  • 30 g sesame seeds
  • 20 g vegetable oil with no or low smell
  • 15 g maple syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Spices paprika, black pepper, nutmeg
  • ca. 200 g water*

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except water.
  • Add water and stir. Leave for 15 - 20 minutes to thicken the mixture.
  • Cover baking tray with parchment, grease with oil.
  • Pour the mixture in a thin layer onto a baking tray. Bake at 200 C / 390 F for 10 minutes, lower the temperature to 180 C / 355 F, take healthy chips out and mark the cuts, return to the oven and bake until pink (at 180 C / 355 F around 20 mins). Turn off the oven and leave in the switched off oven to dry until crispy.
  • Break the healthy chips in the planned cuts.
