Crispy crepe with chocolate richness.
Chocolate crepes full of chocolate flavor with melted chocolate sauce on top is the best breakfast for your Sunday morning or just an afternoon snack during the week. This recipe combines the taste of thin and crispy crepe with chocolate richness. The ingredients are simple and you should definitely have them in your fridge. The preparation of a sauce is pretty easy – just melt the chocolate and add oat milk and you get a perfect sauce that you can pour over the crepes.

How to prepare chocolate crepes

Ingredients
- 250 g oat milk
- 140 g of flour
- 1 egg
- 25 g maple syrup
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 15 g oil
- a pinch of salt
- 8 g vanilla sugar
- 125 g boiling water
Chocolate sauce
- 30 g dark chocolate
- 30 g oat milk
Instructions
- Mix 140 g of flour, a pinch of salt, 8 g of vanilla sugar, 25 g of maple syrup, 1 egg, 40 g of cocoa powder, 2/3 oat milk and stir. Add 15 g of oil and remaining milk. Blend everything together.
- Add boiling water.
- Leave the mixture for 20 minutes.
- Bake over medium heat
- If the pancakes are thick, add boiling water
- Output 20-22 pieces with a diameter of 28 cm
- Warm up 30 g of oat milk over boiling water, switch off the heat and add 30 g of dark chocolate. Let it melt inside and pour over the chocolate crepes.

Tips & hacks for the recipe
*You can use any milk. If you want to be very exact – the milk should be warmed to 30 C (86 F). It should be not too hot and not too cold.
*It is important to use very hot boiling water.
*You can make more batter for crepes recipe and bake one half first and let the rest cool in the fridge and bake them the next day. If you bake crepes the next day and let the mixture cool one day in a fridge your crepes will turn even more delicious.
