Healthy mac and cheese – natural ingredients and super cheesy
Healthier mac and cheese is an absolute game changer. I really like having it for lunch or dinner. A low calorie version of the dish is perfect if you want to keep eating healthy and enjoy your favorite food. This recipe is not overloaded with ingredients – you just need basic ingredients like pasta or flour. At the same time a recipe is full of cheesy taste and flavor – all comes from cheese mixture – cheddar and mozzarella. You can also add some greens, if you like.
I really like baking healthy mac and cheese muffins – a muffin form is perfect to have as a snack in between. But if you add some salad to 3-4 mac muffins – you get a perfect lunch or dinner. One serving is very low in calories, so you can definitely enjoy some of them during the day and keep eating a healthy diet. If you are struggling with the amount of protein you consume during the day – this recipe is perfect. One serving contains 8 g of protein, that comes from natural ingredients and you do not need any protein powder. It is amazing to consume enough healthy natural protein.
